What is Biofiltration?
Biofiltration is the biological process that purifies the gaseous emissions loaded with pollutants using bacteria, molds and yeasts which acts as natural agents of removing pollutants. These microorganisms metabolize most of organic and inorganic compounds through a wide range of reactions that transform the compounds into odorless products.
Biofiltration is an innovative technology, with a low cost of air emission control, containing dangerous pollutants (COV, or other types of toxic organic pollutants).
It can be designed and operated to treat, while air streams diluted or concentrated with dangerous pollutants.
